Commercial Litigation and Negotiation
In order to obtain the most beneficial result for a client in litigious disputes, a client has to benefit from instinct, knowledge and expertise from a lawyer by which effective persuasion can extract the most beneficial result.
Only through extensive preparation and effective communication can a litigant obtain optimum results. JT Law and its principal has a strong record in relation to the resolution of disputes whether by litigation or results by negotiations.
Skillful negotiation is one quality that binds together the many aspects of commercial law that we practice and which give a litigant a distinct advantage. A skillful negotiator can and does make all the difference, bringing objectivity to sensitive, often complex, high-stake issues and providing clear meaningful evaluation throughout every stage of the entire negotiation process.

JT Law can assist you in advising in legal requirements surrounding acquisitions, financing, town planning and environmental issues, construction, project management leasing, and sales involving commercial, retail, industrial and residential property.
We also advise on other legal issues relating to property matters including stump duty, capital gains tax and taxation.
These areas usually involve several parties including developers, landowners, financiers, builders, project and marketing mangers, all interrelating through a variety of agreements and JT Law and its principal have very strong negotiating experience.

Protection of Trade Marks and Trade Practices may include preventative measures in commercial transactions and protective action against infringement, and may also involve defending the enjoyment and use of Trade Marks rights over which exclusivity is wrongly being claimed.
Notary Services
Public Notaries record legal transactions for use locally and overseas under foreign laws.
In Australia Notaries are senior legal practitioners who authenticate, prepare, attest, verify, witness and certify original and copy legal documents for use in Australia and overseas.
A notarial act is generally seen as a certification of authenticity. Under the Hague Convention, the office and seal of a Notary is internationally recognised.
Until 6 June 2002, Notaries in NSW were appointed by the Archbishop of Canterbury in London. Following the introduction of the Public Notaries Act 2001, they are now appointed by the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of NSW.
The principal of JT Law is a Notary Public and can provide you with all the notary services you require locally and international.
